Sunny Skies and positive vibes as the LMTCC team arrived for their first game of their campaign vs Royal Engineers. After the Toss, LMTCC set to the field first.

An innings of ups and downs with the powerplay going 30/2 but the Royal Engineers batting deep and getting to 145/7.

2 catches from T. Knowles, A run out from C.Hunt and a catch from D.Everett. A decent total and a good chase for LMTCC to start the weekend. It was not to be however as batting woes continued with 3 wickets falling in the powerplay for 16 runs. A good reply in the middle brought the game back but LMTCC continued to lose wickets at crucial times and ended on 111/7 after the 20 overs.

A tough loss by 34 runs to start the weekend but we will come back stronger together tomorrow. Two games for the LMTCC Squad tomorrow as we have 14 players to rotate. First game starting at 10.00 am vs Royal Challengers Belfast followed by the 12:45 game vs Swansea.
