Cricket España seek a National Secretary.

Cricket España are looking for a highly motivated individual to become part of a team that is growing from strength to strength.


You could be a part of the team that rises to such a challenge. As the National Secretary, you will be charged with the responsibility for specific administration duties that occur in the day to day running of Cricket España.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

• The ability to disseminate and process the relevant information to members, stakeholders and other clients.
• Familiarise yourself with the Cricket España constitution, guidelines and strategic plan.
• Responsible for the registration of all Cricket España members in all the different leagues and that insurance is up to date and correct.
• Attend National Board and other important meetings and minute the outcomes.
• Organise the AGM, Conferences and other Cricket España initiatives.
• Ensure the Cricket España calendar of events is updated and maintained.
• General Secretarial tasks, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Cricket España Directorate.
• To be the principle administrator in dealing with specific and allocated correspondence.
• Organising and booking match facilities and in house courses throughout the season.

The ability to speak fluent Spanish and English is essential for this role.

As the main first point of contact, the Secretary position is a demanding role that has an impact on the efficient and effective administration image of Cricket España.

Cricket España seek a Regional Development Officer (RDO) for the South of Spain (Andalucía).

Cricket España are looking for a highly motivated individual to become part of a team that is growing from strength to strength.


You could be a part of the team that rises to such a challenge. As Regional Development Officer (RDO) for the South of Spain, you will be charged with the responsibility for planning, managing and ensuring delivery of various cricket development programs across the region.

To rise to this challenge, you will need to be a cricket lover with an in-depth knowledge of the game. But, that's not all, by any means. You will also be able to demonstrate:

:: Leadership skills with the ability to develop a vision and plan for the Southern region and to work with all stakeholders.
:: Excellent financial control; able to plan, forecast, manage and deliver your programs within your budget for the region.
:: Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to market and promote the game of cricket in the South of Spain.
:: An ability to think and plan strategically, whilst maintaining a practical and pragmatic approach.
:: Proven management and administrative skills which will be vital to the timely implementation of your programs.

:: The energy and passion required to inspire others to perform.
:: The personal drive and motivation which is essential as a self-starter.
:: Must live in Spain and have a valid driving licence.
:: Report directly back to the Regional Development Manager (RDM).
:: Elaborate the Annual Andalucian Development Calendar and its budget to be presented to the RDM.
:: Level 2 coach or above with tutor capabilities desired but not essential, but need to have the ability to deliver the Criiio program and other Cricket España initiatives in the South of Spain.
:: Networking with Spanish and International schools throughout the region of Andalucía.
:: Liaise closely with the Regional Development Manager to ensure a uniform approach is taken throughout Spain.
:: Work towards achieving the goals set out in the Cricket España strategic plan (2023-2027).
:: Develop a regional pathway for players to go from grass roots to high performance level cricket.
:: Help clubs to develop in the South and co-ordinate Regional leagues.
:: Increase playing numbers and KPI’s for Men’s, Women’s and Junior cricket in the region.

Currently, you are likely to be working within cricket, on a full-time, part-time or volunteer basis. You may have established networks within cricket circles, and will understand the structures of club, regional and national cricket.
The successful candidate must be prepared for some travel within the Andalucian region of Spain.

:: Networking with Spanish and International schools, ensuring constant dialogue and coordination with the Regional Development Officers (RDOs) throughout Spain in developing a uniform approach to the growth of cricket throughout the country.
:: Liaise closer with the National team coaches, creating a pathway for players to go from grass roots to high performance level.
:: Maintaining records and ensuring the ICC Data capture tool is updated frequently in all regions.
:: Setting up and implementing of Cricket España and ICC accredited officials and coaching courses.

Currently, you are likely to be working within cricket, on a full-time, part-time or volunteer basis. You may have established networks within cricket circles, and will understand the structures of club and national cricket.

The successful candidate must be prepared for some travel throughout Spain and the Spanish islands.
