Madrid ended their travels this season with two defeats on the coast last weekend.
On the Saturday they played a tight game against La Manga. Madrid batted first and scored 220 for 7 from their over allocation.
In reply, La Manga chased down the total with seven wickets to spare. The hosts were brought home by their opener Stuart Simkins who scored 110 not out in his teams innings.
La Manga took 18 points from the match whilst Madrid got 5 points.
The Sunday saw the Madrid side head up the coast for a contest with Pinatar Pirates. Pinatar batted first and were restriced by the Madrid bowling attack to 151 all out. However, Madrid were unable to overhaul the Pinatar total and they too were bowled out, but for just 111 runs.
Bittu Singh took 5 for 17 for the hosts in a fine bowling spell. Pinatar took 18 points from the game whilst Madrid got five bowling and two for their batting.
