Vikings goes down to Egan Dantis all-round Brilliance yet again

Yet another Stellar Batting display from Egan Dantis, 2 fifties in 2 matches for Luke Turner.
Egan Dantis brilliant 55 not out took crusaders to victory at cartama oval after Vikings elected to bat once again. Vikings were dented with an early blow by Kenroy Nestor dismissing Guy Dumas in the first over for nought. Luke Turner and Matt Davey looked in great touch, they ran quick singles, got the odd boundary in the middle and kept the scoreboard ticking.
Luke turner batted splendidly for his second half-century in his second match for Vikings. Just before the drinks crusaders got the breakthrough, Rob Martin rattled Luke turner’s off stump for 58, Captain Nasir Dar was dismissed in quick succession scoring 21 off 9 balls. Don Diego smashed a quick fire 30 before he was adjudged LBW. Peter Gething ran himself out while trying to steal a quick single. Phill Nuttall was the pick of the bowlers with 2-24. Costa Vikings were reduced to 165 all out in 27.2 overs.
Once again crusaders got a great start with the bat, Openers added 52 runs for the first wicket. Vikings bowlers were wayward in the first without much assistance from the pitch. Rob Martin anchored the innings in the first half scoring 31.
Matt Davey bowled well in the middle overs by dismissing Ammy Nayyar. Rob’s dismissal by Luke Turner bought Egan Dantis to the crease who played a sensible inning till the drinks. The match was evenly poised with 74 runs needed off 15 overs. Yet again Nasir Dar Starred with the ball by dismissing Chris Batten for 4. Dar’s accuracy troubled the batsmen. But Egan Dantis and Harry Scott battled it out.
Egan Dantis Smashed 22 runs of Peter Gething’s over to reduce the target. Egan Dantis once again stole the show by taking the team over the line in succession.
