The third edition of the Valencia Smash!
T20 to take place 18 – 20 October 2019…
After the Cricket league season in the UK (and Spain) has been put to bed, you will have the chance to finish off your year in style by bringing you club to Valencia to take part in the 3rd edition of the international T20 tournament, the Valencia Smash!
Taking place from 18 – 20 October 2019, four teams will play four matches each over three days of cricket to see who is crowned this years champions. The hosts Levante CC, will hope to regain the trophy after success in 2017 against the excellent West Hagley in the final, was followed by narrow defeat against the first team to visit from India, Mumbai Jaguars in 2018.
Even before the tournament dates for 2019 were announced, there has been great interest and including the hosts, we have two teams in place for this years Smash! The details –
- 4 x T20 matches over 3 days
- 4 nights in a central 3* hotel with breakfast, walking distance to the ground (Thurs 17 – Mon 21 Oct)
- Nets session Thursday if requested
- Lunch Friday and Saturday
- Tournament dinner (Tapas and Paella) served outside at the ground following the final
- Awards and trophies
- Bar serving beers at only €1.30!!
- Cricket España tournament umpires and referee
