Back in the winter Neil Brook, (Cricket Espana’s Junior Director of Cricket)arranged for two boys who play for La Manga Juniors and both excellent prospects for Spanish cricket future, to go and play in England with Dan Feist brother’s club in Surrey.
Dan Feist works for Essex CCC and Cricket Espana have a working relationship with the county side and have participated in several dual projects in the past.
The boys are two brothers, Theo (age 12) & Charlie (age 10) Rumistrzewicz and these boys have learn’t all of their cricket in Spain from a very early age.
Yesterday Neil received an e-mail from their father Stefan and it seems that both boys are doing rather well at the moment ..
Congratulations to both Theo and Charlie and we look forward to their return to the cricket fields of Spain at the end of the summer.

Just thought you’d like to know. T&C are playing at the moment for Merstham Eagles vs Nuthall. They fielded first. Charlie came on and got the first wicket and could have had another. Then he got a run out with a direct throw. Bowled 2 overs 1 for 4. No other wickets but T bowled well, only giving three runs in two overs. Opposition were 101-2 after 20…. Yet to bat. T&C in at 4 and 5 respectively….Came out to bat in 8th and 9th over respectively…batted out the innings and won it with three overs to spare! Wahoo!
