Torrevieja played hosts to local rivals Pinatar Pirates in the latest ECCL Division Two game and it was the Pirates who came out on top in a very low scoring game.
Batting first Pinatar were all out for 135 with only three players making double figures. Vikash Singh top scored with 29 whilst Robin Singh took four wickets for only nine runs. Another of the home sides mainline bowlers, Neville Harris chipped in with three wickets as Torry looked to be on top at the interval.
However, the home sides batting struggled even more than the visitors and they were skittled out for just 59 in the 30th over. Gopi Singh took five for 18 in an excellent spell of bowling. Pinatar took 17 points from their 76 run victory whilst Torrevieja gained 6 points.
Pinatar 135 all out beat Torrevieja 59 all out by 76 runs..
