Old foes Torrevieja and La Manga met up once again and it was the visitors from La Manga who went home with the spoils.
Torrevieja batted first and struggled to come to terms with the La Manga bowling attack. Kieran Wood top scored with 25 but only four of the Torre batsmen managed to get double figures. The pick of the La Manga bowlers was Hugh James, who continued a great sporting week for the Welsh, by bagging three wickets for just 17 runs.
In reply, La Manga made light work of the small total. Despite the hiccough of losing Rupert James for nought they kept their composure and confidence and strode home by six wickets. In form Stuart Simpkin made 28 and Hugh James completed a fine all round performance by ending the day 25 not out for La Manga.
La Manga took 20 points from the contest whilst the home side added four pounts to their league total.
La Manga 101 for 4 beat Torrevieja 100 all out by six wickets.
