Madrid Stars cemented their place at the top of the ECCL Premier League with a comprehensive victory over fellow newcomers Valencia Stallions.
Batting first the team from Valencia were in all sorts of trouble from the word go and they were finally all out for a very mediocre 80. For Madrid Stars Tasawar, Ali Cheema and Kaschif took three wickets each in a fine team performance in the field.
The Stars had very little trouble in knocking off the Stallions total and they chased the runs down with nine wickets to spare, Waheed was the mainstay of the innings scoring 44 not out to give the Stars maximum points.
Madrid Stars (20 points) beat Valencia Stallions (1 point) by 9 wickets.
