ST GEORGE DAMPEN THE FISHERMAN`S INN TITLES HOPES
St George`s CC were on fine form last weekend to dispose of the Fisherman´s Inn at Puerto Del Carmen to put a serious dent into the homes sides title aspirations. St George won the toss and put the Anglers into bat. Ryan Howarth continued his excellent form by scoring 47 not out in the 171 for 8 Fisherman`s total.
St George responded positively and secured victory by six wickets, largely thanks to a sparkling 78 not out by Cameron Smythe. The Fisherman´s took 5 points from the game, whilst St George´`s amassed 19 to leave them at the top of the table with 5 wins from 5 games.
