Sporting Alfas got back to winning ways with a easy victory over the newly named Madrid Super Stars in the latest league encounter at the Woodbridge Oval.

Batting first the Super Stars struggled from the off and were finally bowled out for just 129. Batting at three Ali Usman offered some resistance but found very little support among his batting colleagues. For Alfas Jamie Roper picked up three wickets for a cost of 41 runs.

In contrast Alfas found batting easy and soon surpassed the required total. The innings of the day came from Christian Munoz Mills who hit an unbeaten 52 for the homeside to ensure victory and maximum points for the Albir based club.

The Super Stars went bat to the capital with three points to their name and they will be hoping for better next time when they journey to the East Coast for their next ECCL Premier league game.

Sporting Alfas 134 for 2 beat Madrid Super Stars 129 all out.
