SPAIN TO PLAY TRIANGULAR T10 SERIES

Spain are set to play a T10 triangular ECI series just prior to the ECS event in Barcelona later this month. Their opponents will be Portugal and Romania and the team for Spain was announced a few days ago. It contains some famiuliar faces as well as a couple of debutants and it will be predominantly Barcelona based although Lorne Burns will be travelling from Malaga to compete in the tournament.

National coach Corey Rutgers said “Very much looking forward to ending our season as a team on home soil in Barcelona. After a very successful ECC the playing group are excited to play their final matches for the 2023 season. It gives us an opportunity to look at some new faces with two new debutants Sheraz Iqbal and Ghulam Mustafa selected along with established names over the last 18months. Prince Dhiman returns for some International cricket also, with the team to be led by new captain Yasir Ali.

It is our first ECI weekend of the year, thank you to ECN for the opportunity”.
