SPAIN AWARDED DIVISION 3 TOURNAMENT FOR 2009
Cricket Espana received the news it had been hoping for today when it was confirmed that La Manga would be the venue for the Divisional 3 Championship Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Murcia resort between August the 31st and September 5th 2009.
Spain will pit wits against 2007 hosts Belguim, Malta, Israel, Isle of Man and their Iberian rivals Portugal. The tournament will be played in round robin format with the winners of the competition with the winners facing a play off with Croatia for promotion into Division 2 in 2010.
