SONSECA V TRISKELL TAVERNERS (MADRID LEAGUE)

Sonseca continued their strong showing in the Madrid Regional League with a convincincing victory over Triskell Taverners by 95 runs.

Batting first Sonseca posted 275 all out. Zeeshan top scored wth 59, whilst Ihsan supported his team mate with a fine 37. For Triskell Toni was the pick of the bowlers taking three wickets.

Triskell batted well in their innings but still fell well shy of Sonseca’s total, finally being bowled out for 182. Joe top scored with 41, whilst Mirza and Waqas bagged four wickets apiece for Sonseca.

Sonseca have now played two and won two in the Madrid League and look strong contenders for this years title. However, after the game Sonseca were deducted ten of their twenty points for fielding an ineligible player.Triskell continue to search for their first elusive league win in their 2015 League campaign.
