La Manga travelled the short distance up he road to Torreveija and secured a comfortable victory in the latest development league fixture.
Batting first La Manga were indebted to Gopi Singh who scored a fantastic century and he was well supported by the middle order batsmen as the visitors posted a total of 214 for 7 off their quota of overs.
In reply Torreveija fought gamely after losing three quick wickets early on. Jack Webster continued his fine all round form with a well crafted 44 not out and he was well supported by Leigh Blann but the home side finished their innings with 132 for 7, 82 runs shy of their target.
La Manga received 17 points from the game whilst Torreveija had to be content with just 5 points
