RUN FEAST AT THE WOODBRIDGE OVAL
Over 700 runs were scored at the Woodbridge Oval on Saturday when La Manga and Valencia clashed at the Alfas ground
La Manga batted first and scored a fantastic 410 for 6 off their full quota of overs. Spanish international Farhat Mahmood was in sparkling forSajad Ali m hitting 150 not out for the visitors.
Sajad Ali and A Nadeem Ali also made major contributions for the Murcia based club.
Valencia too scored a plethora of runs, securing maximum batting points with their creditable 295 all out. J Iqbal hit 66 and M Iqbal 52 in the Valencia total. La Manga took 20 points from the game and Valencia mustered 8 points towards their league total.
