Sporting Alfas I brought Pinatar’s unbeaten league record to a crashing halt at the Pinatar Arena recently when the comprehesively beat the hosta at a suny Pinatar Arena.
Batting first Pinatar posted the weak total of 140 all out. Talat Ali top scored with 47 and opener Sajid Ali got 20 but the spoils went to the bowler Perryman who took six wickets for just 19 runs in an excellent 10 over spell.
The visitors scenting victory at the half way stage were in no mood to lose the match and easily surppassed the meagre Pinatar total. The chased the total down for the loss of only three wickets with opener Joel Brook hitting a fine half century.
Alfas took maximum points from the game whilst Pinatar Pirates had to be content with just three points.
