Pinatar Pirates II and La Manga played their reverse league fixture last weekend and it was Pinatar who took the spoils this time around.
La Manga batted first and were soon in trouble, losing wickets at regular intervals. The openers put on 29 for the first wicket but after both Simkins and Williams departed the young La Manga side failed to get to grips with Pinatar’s bowling.
La Manga were finally out for 88 and V Singh and R Singh both took two wickets for the home side.
In reply, Pinatar chased down the totally with a minimum of fuss, losing just three wickets in the process. B Singh completed a great batting performance by scoring 46 not out whilst Ian Hunt took two of the three wickets to fall for the visitors.
Unfortunately, post-match Pinatar were deducted 10 points for playing an inelligible player
