Pinatar II and Valencia Star were in league action last weekend at the Pinatar Arena and it was the home side that emerged victorious.
Stars won the toss and elected to field.Kevin Buckley and Gopi Singh put on 86 for the first wicket before Buckley was bowled by Jabar for the first of his four wickets.
Although G Singh made a fine 61 the innings of the day came from R Singh who hit 88 before being caught late in the day. Pinatar finished on 214 for 7 from their 40 oves.
Valencia Star challenged hard to chase down the Pinatar total but were finally all out for 159 in the 33rd over. R Singh ended the day with four wickets for just 15 runs to cap off a fine all round performance whilst Khan top scored for Stars with 38.
Pinatar II take 19 points from their 55 run victory whilst Stars managed six points.
Pinatar II (18 points) beat Valencia Stars (6 points) by 55 runs.
