Pedro Venus played an integral role in the Spanish victory scoring 35 runs and taking four wickets for 39 as Finlands last five wickets fell for only 24 runs.
In the other group game Croatia crept home with a ball to spare against Portugal. Spain now need to beat Portugal on Thursday to have a chance of a semi final spot..
