Pak Barcelona strengthened their position in Group D of the Cataluyna League by making it three wins out of three at the expense of La Selva.
La Selva batted first and posted a respectable score of 170 for 8 from their 25 over allocation. Top scorer was the opener Vicky who made 37 but seven of his team mates also made double scores without converting them into major contributions. Sahid and Hamza had almost identical bowling figures for Pak Barcelona taking 3-35 and 3-34 respectively.
The Pak Barcelona batting was in great form and they found the Angles pitch and the Selva bowling very much to their liking. Asjad Butt hit 45 and Awais 42 in a great opening partnership. This was followed up with a unbroken third wicket stand between Saghar (33 not out) and Yaseen (24 not out) that ultimately gave their team the convincing eight wicket victory.
