Pak Barcelona and Empuriabrava entertained spectators with a feast of a game last weekend in a match that went right down to the wire before Pak Barcelona claimed victory by just five runs.
Batting first Pak Barcelona scored 205 for 7 from the over allocation. All nine batsmen that headed to the crease reached double figures but there was no one who managed to turn their good start into a particularly large score. Adil with 37 top scored and an unbeaten eighth wicket partnership between Amir (30) and Kamran (21) did ensure that their side did post a very competitive total.
In contrast, Empuriabrava relied heavily on Basharat to win them the game. His fine 70 came on the back of a fine bowling performance (4-24) and he can count himself extremely unlucky to finish on the losing side.
Empuriabrava finally ended just five runs short of the total, but it was enough to keep Pak Barcelona unbeaten in the league and gave them four wins from four matches.
Pak-Barcelona 206 for 7 beat Empuriabrava 201 for 7 by 5 runs.
