Menorca Cricket Club once again provided the island with some fantastic entertainment on their annual open day, the highlight of which was undoubtedly the Ladies match, that took place in wonderful weather and in great spirit.
The game on the Saturday between two ladies teams was played in front of one of the busiest crowds the idyllic Biniparrell ground has seen in a long while.
The Nutcrackers Ladies teams dressed for the occaision and Team One posted a very respectable 64 from their twenty overs. This proved a little too tough for team two, who went down fighting all the way, finally finishing on 44.
The whole day was a tremendous success and a great advert for Ladies Cricket that continues to grow and develope throughout Spain on the mainland and the islands.
