The second T-20 Catalan tournament ended with huge success
The second T-20 Catalan tournament proved to be a very sucessful one, being held in Barcelona last weekend on 19-20-21 of February.
Minhaj Cricket Club claimed the championship of II Catalan tournament and Barcelona Eagles Cricket Club claimed the rinners-up spot in the tournament. There was some bad luck for the big teams like Catalunya CC losing their first match with a time penality and Falco CC the last tournament champions, lost their oportunity in the second semi final with Minhaj Cricket Club. This was a second sucessful T-20 tournament organized by Catalunya cricket association with Catalunya Cricket Club.
Mr. Toti Mumbrú, the head of Barcelona sports department of the Generalitat de Catalunya, distributed the the prizes alongwith Mrs Ester Capella, Mr. Robert Masih and Mr. Jordi Soler. Mr. Mumbrú congratulated the winner and runner up teams and assured their continued colaboration to promote cricket in Catalunya.
He also congratulated the ‘President of the Catalunya Cricket Association Mr. Rober Masih for his hard work in promoting cricket in Catalunya, and applauded all the members of Catalunya Cricket Association, for creating such a wonderful event.
