Game two in the Southern League was an excellent showpiece for the spectators at the Cartama Oval as Marbella All Stars ran out winners over Malaga CC by just six runs.
Batting first the All Stars were deep in trouble at 50 for 5 but a good middle order partnership from Nazim Malik (48) and Atif (27) steered the final total to a respectable 189 off their 35 overs.
Malaga looked to be on course for victory with opener Zulziqar hitting 73 but the loss of his wicket and others at crucial times ensured Marbella crept over the winning line by the smallest of margins.
Five teams are competing in the Southern League this year which takes a break next weekend when an Andalucian XI play a team from Bracelona in a couple of weekend friendles
