Madrid United and the Bangladesh Association XI will contest the T20 Cricket Final after beating the Triskell Taverners and Madrid CC respectively
In the first semi finala classy innings by Ghulam put United in the driving seat at the interval. Taverners battled bravely but were finally dismissed for 93 all out with Raja and Zishan taking three wickets each.
The second semi final saw Madrid CC try to overcome a tough draw and knock out the Bangladesh Association to reach the final. Unfortunately the hosts found the task too difficult and ended p losing the match by 40 runs.
Next weekend Tavernes will play Madrid CC on the 13th of October in the third(fourth place play off with Madrid United and Bangladesh Association playing each othr in the finalon the fiollowing day. For more information on the event you can contact Dsvid Stirton on davidstirton@ya.com
