Newcomers Madrid Stars maintained their good start to the season and in the process completed the double over their arch rivals Madrid United.
Batting first after winning the toss the Stars made the competitive total of 264 all out. Muneeb top scored with 86 and Asif made a major contribution with 72.
United tried hard in response but just did not have the fire power to overcome the Stars total. They were finally all out for just 156. Kurshad hit 75 for his side but was missing another team mate who made a telling total.
Madrid Stars took 19 points from the game whilst Madrid United had to settle for just 7 points.
