Madrid Star continued their impressive start to the League campaign by claiming yet another resounding victory to make it five wins from five games.
Batting first Madrid never recovered from an horrendous start and only two of their players made double figures during their innings. The main threat for the Stars came from Tasawar whose excellent bowling spell returned figures of five wickets for just 19 runs.
Madrid were finally all out for just 115 runs.
The Stars made light work of chasing down such a slim total and did so for just the loss of a solitary wicket.
As a result, the Stars took another maximum quota of points from the contest. Having dropped just two points from their five games they have put themselves in a very strong position to challenge for the title in their very first league campaign.
Madrid Stars (20 points) beat Madrid (1 point) by 9 wickets
Madrid 115 all out (Tasawar 5-19) Madrid Stars 116 for 1.
