After a hiatus during the summer the Madrid League re-started and it was Madrid II who proved to be too strong this time for Triskell Taverners.

Madrid batted first and started well from the off and opener Jon Woodward hit a fine 79. This was followed by an unbeaten century by Sumon Hussein, which enabled Madrid II to finish with the competitive total of 322 for 5 from their forty over allocation.

In reply, Triskell battled well and were boosted by an opening half century partnership, but eventually the wickets started to fall and they were finally all out for 159. Joss Bancroft was the pick of the bowlers taking three wickets for Madrid II.

Madrid II took twenty points from the game to remain top of the table, whilst triskell managed five points from the encounter.

Madrid 322 for 5 (S Hussein 111 not out) beat Triskell Taverners 159 all out by 163 runs.
