MADRID II SEE OFF SAN FULGENCIO
Madrid´s second team came up trumps against San Fulgencio and secured an 31 run victory to move up the Development league table.
Madrid batted first and scored 187 for 8 off their allocated overs, an innings that included a half century for Max Cawdron. He was well supported by Shahid Awan who scored 44 and David Stirton who contributed 24 not out.
In reply, San Fulgencio made 146 for 7 with John and Adam Algar, Shelton and Griffiths all making telling scores. Joss Bancroft followed up his good work from the last game at the Woodbridge Oval when he got 5 wickets to bag another 3 .in this match for he cost of only 33 runs.
The final points tally saw Madrid receive 16 points and San Fulgencio 6 points.
