The two city rivals produced an entertaining days cricket but it was United who went home with the derby “bragging rights” this time round.

In reply, United struggled to chase down the total as the match swung to and fro in favour of both sides. United eventually claimed the victory with just one wicket to spare, finally chasing down the total in the 35th over. Sunil and Shahid took three wickets each in the losing cause for Madrid.
