Madrid Cricket Club tiene el placer de presentar la versión española de su
página web. El club se convierte así en el primer equipo de cricket de
España que dispone de una página web en inglés y español.
Con el lanzamiento de la página en español, Madrid Cricket Club pretende
llegar al público hispanohablante de Madrid con el fin de seguir
desarrollando el deporte en la capital del país.
Según comenta David Stirton, Secretario del club, “Hay mucho interés en el
cricket aquí en Madrid, pero también un gran desconocimiento del deporte.
Madrid Cricket Club es un equipo multicultural que cuenta con muchos
jugadores de Australia, India, Pakistán y Gran Bretaña, pero con pocos
españoles de momento. Esto lo queremos cambiar, y la versión española de la
página es un gran paso adelante en nuestro empeño por conseguir este
objetivo.”

Madrid Cricket Club is proud to launch a Spanish version of its web site.
MCC has now become the first cricket club in Spain to have its web site in
both English and Spanish.
The launch of the Spanish site is a clear sign of Madrid Cricket Club’s aim
to reach out to the Spanish-speaking public in Madrid with the aim of
continuing to develop the game in the country’s capital.
Club Secretary David Stirton explains, “There is widespread interest in
cricket in Madrid, but also a great deal of ignorance of what the game is
about. Madrid Cricket Club is a multicultural team with a lot of players
from Australia, India, Pakistan and Great Britain, but not many Spaniards so
far. We want to turn this around, and the Spanish site is a huge step
forward in our efforts to reach this goal.”
