Fifty local school girls were invited to La Manga Resort recently by Smile Travel to take part in some cricket coaching sessions with former England International Lydia Greenway, Sally Ann Briggs of Yorkshire Sapphires and Loughborough and Graham Napier of Essex and England
Three local schools took part in the event and there were planned sessions on bowling fielding and batting techniques.
The local schools involved were Phoenix International School, El Limonar School and Kings College Murcia and the whole event was co-ordinated by the Junior Director of Cricket for Spain and the La Manga liaision officer for Cricket Espana Neil Brook.
