LANZAROTE CREEP HOME BY 10 RUNS OVER THE FISHERMANS INN
In the latest league game played in Lanzarote Lanzarote creeped home by 10 runs over The Fishermans Inn. Runs were at a minimum in this game and the bowlers were always on top. Lanzarote batted first and scored 96 runs on the pitch at Yaiza. Craig Trapps and Geoff Dean did the damage for Fisherman´s ripping through the heart of Lanzarotes batting to return combined figures of 8 wickets for only 17 runs.
However Fisherman faired no better in their innings and were skittled out for a meagre 86 with Shoaib and Deepu bagging 3 wickets each. Lanzarote picked up 16 points from the game whilst Fishermans can console themselves with the fact they were awarded 6 points from the game for their efforts.
