With the Lanzarote league well under way two clubs still remain unbeaten and they are begining to open a gap on the other 6 league teams. The two teams Lanzarote CC and St George’s met earlier in the season in the 15/15 Cup when St George’s were victorious but as the last fixture in the league is between these two clubs it could well go down to the wire in this years league.Playa Blanca who are currently third could also become a factor as they showed by their gutsy performance in their last game against the league leaders when they fell short of victory by just 2 runs when attempting to chase down Lanzarotes total of 179 last weekend.
