Match two went pretty much the way as match one in the weekend double header between La Manga and Levante, with the second game also ending in a competitive draw.
Batting first La Manga just missed out on a fourth batting point by ending their innings on 198 for five. Neil Brook hit a fine half century, whilst there were notable contributions from Paul Brimble and Ian Hunt. Skipper Pete West was the pick of the Levante bowlers picking up two wickets for the cost of 29 runs.
In reply, Levante struggled a little and they finally finished on 158 for 7, forty runs shy of the La Manga total. An unbeaten 83 run partnership for the eighth wicket between Rich Harris (54 not out) and Pete West (18 not out) formed the cornerstone of the visitors effort, whilst Robbie Williams and Simkins took two wickets each for La Manga.
14 points went to La Manga, whilst Levante took 7 points from the game.
