La Manga stayed on course for the developement league title with an emphatic win over local rivals Torrevieja.
Batting first the home side accrued four batting points declaring with their total on 228 for 5 after 41 overs. V Singh top scored with a fine century and he was well supported by openers Kevin Buckley and Larkins who put on 63 for the first wicket.
Torrevieja unfortunately could not match the batting prowess of the opposition and were skittled all out for just 55 runs.
Harmit Phul put in a great spell of bowling finished with four wickets for just three runs, and Tom Vine, Paul Davis and Matt Copperwheat all chipped in with a wicket or two to gave the home side their comprehensive victory.
Levante and Madrid square off at the end of the month and either team will need to win both games convincingly to realistically stand a chance of wrestling the title from La Manga.
