The La Manga Schools tournament kicks off today at the Murcia resort with a match up between two English schools. Norwich School take on Emmanuel School in two T-Twenty matches.
The same clubs match up again the following day for a forty over match before Westminster School enter the fray and take on Emmanuel on the 3rd April, also in a forty over contest. At the same time La Manga will take on Norwich School in another forty over match on the bottom pitch.
Monday Westminster entertain Norwich in a forty over game and on the same day Ellesmere Under 18’s make their first appearance with a T-Twenty event against Emmanuel.
Ellesmere’s Under 13 side are next on stage with a game against Horris School Under 13 in a 35 over game on Tuesday 5th April and the following day the Cricket Espana Under 13 Academy will play Ellesmere Under 13’s and Westminster will play Ellesmere Under 18’s.
The final day sees a total of six games for spectators to enjoy. On the top pitch the schedule is for Westminster to play Ellesmere Under 18’s with a 10 am start. Next up is a Spain select versus Westminster School and then Spain select entertain Ellesmer Under 18’s.
The bottom pitch fixtures also start at 10 am with Spain’s Under 13 Academy playing Horris Under 13’s. Horris are then again in action against Ellesmere Under 13’s and the triangular event finishes with Spain taking on Ellesmere.
All spectators are welcome and all games are free to watch.
