LA MANGA 2 CLAIM VICTORY OVER MOJACAR
The La Manga 2cd team saw off a spirited Mojacar challenge to record another league victory in their inaugural season in the development league.
Mojacar won the toss and put La Manga into bat. Opener Muir scored 45 but the highlight of the La Manga innings was the 60 by G Singh in his teams total score of 202 for 7 off their allocated overs.
In reply, Mojacar fell just short, by 30 runs, as they posted a score of 172 for 9 off theior allocated overs. Davis put in a great bowling performance of 3 for 26 off the 8 overs to help give La Manga the victory that keeps them up with the pace at the top of the development league.
La Manga got 17 points from the game and Mojacar got their first pounts of the season, 5 in total. The next game in the development will pitch newcomers Orihuela against Sporting Alfas 2.
