La Manga Cricket Club
Charity 20/20 Weekend 7th to 9th October 2016
This weekend 8 sides’ meet at the increasingly popular La Manga CC end of season 20/20 tournament which again this year is in support of the Tom Maynard Trust.
It is a great weekend offering the chance for teams to have their end of season party at La Manga Club, whilst also playing in a competitive, but social, cricket competition.

Special Guests:
Across the weekend there will be a series of special guests attending the cricket and the evening entertainment on La Manga Club. These guests include:
Matt Maynard – Former England International and current Director of Cricket at Somerset CCC
Ian Harvey – Former Australian International Cricketer, World Cup Winner and current 1st team coach at Gloucestershire CCC
Derek Underwood – Legendary England Test match player and spinner, a long time friend of La Manga CC and La Manga Club
Roelof Van Der Merwe – Current 1st team player at Somerset CCC and Netherlands international.
If you are at La Manga Club keep a look out for other special guests at the cricket centre across the weekend.
As always, the tournament will end on the Sunday evening with a presentation dinner in the Panorama Rooms and there will be a special guest speaker. The raffle will be drawn at the dinner and prizes already include a La Manga Club holiday, a 2 night trip for 2 to Barcelona, A brand new cricket bat (Helygen cricket) a voucher for Ayrtek Cricket online store, signed memorabilia and many more prizes.
Players will be supported by many of La Manga CC sponsors, receiving 10% discounts, happy hours and special menus in a variety of bars and restaurants. La Manga CC particularly thanks Q Bar, The Last Drop, Si Bar, Flute, La Barra, Dantes, Mulligans for all of their support.
The match schedule is as follows and entrance is free to everyone. There is a great marquee, selling burgers, baguettes, snacks, tea, coffee, soft drinks, wine and plenty of beer and cider.
