Last Friday, the 15th of April, Madrid CC ran a cricket session at Colegio Spinola for 2nd year primary school children (7-8 years old).
Although a number of weekend sessions had already been run at this school, for the first time the session took place during school hours and for most of the kids it was their first experience of the wonderful game.
The session ran for 90 minutes, with batting, bowling and fielding drills followed by Kwik Cricket matches. It was a huge success which finished with the children asking us to come back next Friday.
