JUNIOR CRICKET FESTIVALS IN SPAIN
Cricket Espana will host a Junior festival throughout May with four venues being used to promote Junior cricket in Spain. Lanzarote, Madrid, Cataluyna and La Manga will be having Junior open days that have been sponsored by Cricket Espana and a grant donated by MCC as a result of their successful tour of Spain and Gibraltar last year. Cricket Travel are also providing some Newbery mini-bats and caps to the 4 regions for prizes.
La Manga have their open day on May 15th and everyone is welcome. It will mirror the format of last years successful open day with cricket stations on bowling, batting and fielding skills.
Lanzarote and Madrid have lined up similar events with Lanzarote having an all-girls game and Barcelona are also in the planning stages of a similar event at Montjuic.
