Intellectuals started their season with an Inter Club competition at their ground in Alicante.
A Captain´s Eleven played against a President´s Eleven and it was the skippers team that won the closely fought contest.
Batting first the Captain´s team scored 167 for nine off their twenty overs with Nomen top scoring with 30. Faisal was the pick of the bowlers for three wickets for just 30 runs. He continued his fine form with the bat hitting 72 not out. Unfortunately, it was not enough to give his team victory as thry fell ten short despite having seven wickets to play with.
The club have entered the second division league of the ECCL this season and will compete against the second teams of Levante, Pinatar and Sporting Alfas.
