There are many novel ways of raising money for your cricket club but perhaps one of the more enterprising is to do a “gig” with your rock band.
That is exactly what Ian Shackleton of Madrid Cricket Club his doing.
His band Hot Danger are playing the Wurlitzer Ballroom in Calle de Las Tres Cruces 12, Madrid on Wednesday the 12th October start time 10 pm.
Special guests are another band called Population 5 and Ian will be donating his part of the proceeds to his beloved cricket team.
The band will be doing cover versions of all sorts of rock classics, everything from AC/DC and Thin Lizzy to the Ramones and the entrance fee is only five euros.
