Two games were scheduled for the GPL last weekend put only one was played due to a downpour at the Angles Cricket Ground.
New Target CC and Olot Tigers were the unfortunates sides that were affected by the weather, so both teams received one point each towards their league total.
The match that did get to see some action was the confrontation between Salt CC and Girona Cricket Club and it was the former that won for their second success in consecutive matches, having disposed of Farners in the Cataluyna league the week before.
Salt batted first and accrued a total of 134 in their 20 over allocation. Fazal was the top batsmen notching 43 runs in his teams total.
In reply Girona failed to reach three figures and finally finished their innings on 90 all out. Abdul Rehman had a great time with the ball taking four key wickets for Salt.
Salt now have three points from three games but Garrotxa still remain at the top of the pile with seven points from their five games.
