FIXTURES CONFIRMED FOR THE ICC EUROPE DIVISIONAL 3 TOURNAMENT
ICC Europe have now confirmed the fixtures for the 2009 Division 3 championships. The host nation Spain will play their first game at the Woodbridge Oval in Alfas Del Pi on the 31st of August against Malta and the following day they travel to La Manga to play Iberian rivals Portugal.
On the 2cd of September Spain entertain the 2007 hosts Belguim, and then after the reserve day on the Wednesday they will match up against Israel at La Manga club. The home sides final game sees them travel back North to Alfas to play the Isle of Man.
Spain have two more friendlies at La Manga prior to the tournament starting. In July they will play a Catalonia Select XI and then on the 31st of that month they will entertain the strong Surrey side, Wimbledon CC.
