STRONG BATTING PERFORMANCE ENSURES MAXIMUM POINTS FOR FISHERMAN´S
The Fisherman´s Inn secured maximum points against Playa Blanca in the latest Lanzarote league match wih a 268 run victory over Playa Blanca.
Blanca won the toss and put the visitors into bat, a decision they would soon live to regret. The home side had no answer to the batting of Jamie Rogerson who went onto score 151 not out in the Fisherman´s huge total of 331 for 8.
In reply, Blanca quickly succumbed, and they were bowled out for 63 to gave the away side maximum points and remain them on course for a possible league and cup double this season.
