Farners and Gracia met in the latest Cataluyna League contest at Angles and it was the unseeded team Gracia who emerged victorious.
Batting first Farners were bowled out in the 21st over for just 121. Gopy, Jassi, Suarav and Baljat all got into double figures but failed to capitalise on their good start. For Gracia Simran took three wickets for the cost of just 21 runs.
Gracia made light work of chasing down the small total and cruised home to a seven wicket victory. Simron ended an excellent day for himself personally by ended on 53 not out for the winners whilst Guru bowled well for Farners and took two of the three Gracia wickets that fell, including both openers Anand and Pradeep.
Gracia now join Farners and Pak Barcelona at the top of the league on 20 points but Farners have now played at least one game more than their top of the table rivals.
Gracia 123 for 3 beat Farners 121 all out by 7 wickets.
