Sporting Alfas II continued their impressive league form with a comfortable victory away to Torrevieja yesterday.
Torrevieja batted first and struggled from the off losing wickets at regular intervals. Only two of the home sides batsmen reached double figures as the Alfas bowlers dominated.
Waqar Ashraf and Ahmed took three wickets each as the hosts crumbled to 68 all out.
Alfas made no mistake in securing the victory and romped home with six wickets to spare. Kieran Perman was the star with the bat for the visitors, scoring a fine 33 not out in his teams winning performance.
Alfas took 19 points from the game whilst Torrevieja were awarded just three points.
