Sant Andreu and Friends XI served up a fantastic game of cricket in a closely fought top of the table clash that Andreu eventually won by two wickets in a nailbiting finish.
Batting first, Friends struggled to post a strong total and their innings finally finished at 66 all out in the 15th over. All five Sant Andreu bowlers took wickets in what was a comprehensive bowling performance.
Sant Andreu found batting equally difficult and the final outcome was right in doubt until the very end. Andreu finally crawled over the target line with Ammar batting at eight, keeping a cool head to record 10 not out and the all important victory for his team.
The victory for Andreu put them joint top with Badalona, whilst early season table toppers Friends XI dropped down to third place.
